Artist Statement:

"I am inspired by color and its various combinations and arrangements.

Thrilled by rich red or brilliant turquoise or the softest gray, I enjoy creating paintings that show how these colors appear in real life as well as in abstract form.

I have always been awed by the power of art to speak, to create mood, to remind us of the past or a place or to say something that can't be explained.

I strive to communicate something in each painting."

Kimberly Dana Ryan is an East Coast artist, working in both oil and acrylic.

Her paintings are collected across the United States as well as Canada, the United Kingdom and France.

Kimberly lives in southeastern Connecticut, where she paints in her studio.
